Lincoln Parish School Board Meeting: Jan. 11, 2022

By Jim Wilkerson

At Tuesday night’s Lincoln Parish School Board meeting, Joe Mitcham stepped down as Board President with Dr. David Gullatt replacing him. Lynda Henderson maintained her spot as Vice President after Lisa Best nominated her.

Mitcham was applauded for his time as President and his 26 years of service on the Board. Of those 26 years, Mitcham attended all but three meetings.

“I hope to be a good President,” Gullatt said after assuming Mitcham’s former seat. “Big shoes to follow.”
