A Ruston man was arrested Tuesday after involvement in a traffic accident and the investigating officer saw suspected marijuana in the car.
Ruston Police responded to a collision on West California Ave. at Nutmeg Drive near the west city limits about 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Keith Geter, 21, of Ruston was one of the drivers involved in the accident. When he opened his glove box to look for an insurance card, the investigating officer saw suspected marijuana inside.
Geter was arrested and a quantity of marijuana and related paraphernalia were taken as evidence.
Geter was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless operation of a vehicle, and no insurance.
