Police searching for Ruston man after woman shot in Grambling

GRAMBLING, La. — Local and state police are searching for Lamario Moore, a convicted felon and suspect in a shooting of a woman in Grambling.

The shooting happened on Saturday morning on the 300 block of B.T. Woodard Circle in Grambling.

Police found the female victim with a gunshot wound to her leg. She was treated at a local hospital and then airlifted to Shreveport for additional treatment.

The shooting was attributed to a domestic dispute, and are looking for Moore, who resides in Ruston. Moore is wanted on multiple charges of aggravated second-degree battery of a dating partner and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
