Ruston man sought in Grambling shooting

Investigation into a Saturday morning shooting in Grambling has police seeking a Ruston man.

Grambling Police received a 911 call about 9 a.m. Saturday reporting a shooting in the 300 block of B. T. Woodard Circle. Investigation revealed a man allegedly shot his girlfriend in the leg during a dispute. The man fled the scene, and the girlfriend was airlifted to Ochsner LSU for treatment.

Grambling Police obtained arrest warrants for LaMario L. Moore, 34, of Ruston. The warrants charge Moore with aggravated second degree battery of a dating partner and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Moore is considered armed and dangerous, according to Grambling Police.
