
The blue carpet is getting rolled out again as Louisiana Tech Athletics will host the 8th annual Techspys awards on Monday, May 2 inside the Thomas Assembly Center.
The blue carpet portion of the evening will begin on the front steps outside the TAC with a dessert bar and photo opportunities available to LA Tech student-athletes, including a photo booth that will be open from 4:45-5:45 p.m. (will be in the concourse if there is inclement weather).
The doors open to the arena at 5 p.m. with the event, free and open to the general public, beginning at 6 p.m. as Gavin Kelly will serve as the master of ceremonies. Student-athletes, their plus-ones and coaches/staff will sit in the lower level while the general public will be seated in the upper level.
Members of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee members will present the awards throughout the evening. A total of 16 awards will be presented, including Moment of the Year which will be determined by fan vote.
Formal attire is requested.
