Lincoln Parish deputies arrested a Bernice man on several warrants Friday after a call to remove him from a Dubach residence.
A caller told the sheriff’s department that Johnny L. Davis, 56, had been showing up unannounced and uninvited and requested he be removed from the property.
Deputies found Davis attempting to leave out the back door of the Vivian Lane residence. A records check revealed a warrant for failing to appear in district court on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. After Davis was arrested, a suspected ‘crack pipe’ was found in an empty whiskey bottle in his pants pocket.
Further investigation showed Davis was wanted on warrants from Louisiana State Probation. Union County, Arkansas wants Davis for failure to comply with reporting requirements for sex offenders. He was booked on the warrants and an additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia for the crack pipe.
Later in the day, Ruston Police added another warrant for failure to appear in court on a theft charge.
