Delta Community College holds ribbon cutting for new campus

Monroe-Louisiana Delta Community College will host a ribbon-cutting for its new Ruston Campus location, 1010 James Street, today at 1 p.m.

“The plans for a new campus have been in the works for a while, and we’re thrilled to see it come to fruition,” Dr. Randy Esters, chancellor of the college, said. “We’re grateful for the support of so many who had a hand in making this campus a reality for the community of Ruston.”

The new campus boasts 15,040 square feet on the first floor, 11,230 square feet on the second floor, and 8,000 square feet in the welding shop.

Fall class registration is now underway, and the campus will be open for the fall semester.
