
A Ruston man was arrested over the weekend after video evidence put him at the scene of a car wreck and police officers determined he had four active warrants.
On July 1, a Ruston Police officer was reviewing video footage of an accident that had occured at the East Side Mini Mart and made contact with the driver, Jordan Thomas, 30, at his residence, due to his active city warrants.
The active warrants included three driving under suspension/revocation and one disobeying a red signal. All four warrants were with the city of Ruston.
Thomas said he was not the driver of the vehicle at fault of the accident that was under video review.
Thomas was transported to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center. Bail was set at $14,000.
