Inez Harrist Payne, 101, died at her home in Ruston on July 9, 2022, after a lengthy illness.
She was a retired small business owner and bank teller.
Temple Baptist Church will host a lunch for family and friends at noon Friday in the Fellowship Hall. Visitation will follow at 1 p.m., and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Temple Baptist Church.
Survivors are her son Stephen Michael Payne, also of Ruston; several cousins; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was a friend to many, as well as a confidante, a faithful daughter and wife, and a supportive mother. All of her family and friends will miss her; and none will forget her lovely smile, her wisdom, her ever-present sense of humor, her kindness, and her boundless love.
