The City of Ruston will close Dan Reneau Drive between South Monroe and South Homer streets beginning Tuesday, July 19, to allow sewer repairs in that area.

The anticipated completion date for this portion of the project is July 26.

The city is currently engaged in a large-scale project to improve utilities, sidewalks and lighting on the east side of campus. In addition, the city is working to improve our 100-year-old drainage system in that area.

University officials urge pedestrians and drivers to take care and be aware of this construction as commuters navigate in that section of campus.
