A man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly damaged a neighbor’s car.
Ruston Police responded to a West Barnett Springs Avenue apartment Wednesday evening. A man told officer he was leaving his apartment when he saw another man keying his car. The suspect then went into a nearby apartment.
Officers observed scratches on the victim’s driver side door, hood, and other locations. As the officer was talking to the victim, the suspect came out of an apartment as was identified as Gabriel Glover, 22.
Glover admitted he keyed the victim’s car. He said he had anger issues and keyed the vehicle out of frustration rather than anger toward the victim. However, he said he only scratched the driver side door.
The victim estimated the damage to his vehicle at about $3,000.
Glover was arrested for felony simple criminal damage to property and booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center.
