Domestic call leads to arrest

Lincoln Parish deputies arrested a man early Monday after responding to a domestic call on Null Road.

Deputies found Sifea N. Elisaia, Jr., 42, who said he and his wife were arguing under the carport when they got into a physical altercation. He said he and his wife had been drinking.

The wife said Elisaia hit her, and she was knocked to the ground where she struck the back of her head on the concrete. The wife, who appeared in distress and was covered in blood, had a cut and large knot on the back of her head. She was treated by a Ruston Fire Department ambulance crew but refused transport to the hospital due to a child in the house.

Elisaia was arrested for domestic abuse battery and a bench warrant the Sheriff’s Office held for failing to appear in court on a bank fraud charge.
