Tiger soccer downs Little Rock

The Grambling State University women’s soccer team got back on the winning track on Sunday afternoon, earning a hard fought 1-0 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock at the Coleman Sports Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Karlyn Judge scored the only goal Grambling State (3-5) would need, lacing a shot into the net from 22 yards out. Samantha Diaz was credited with the assist.

WHAT COACH WAGAR SAID

  •  “Great win today. we ended Little Rock’s four-game unbeaten streak and their run of four consecutive shutouts. It’s the first time we’ve beaten Little Rock in about 10 years. I’m proud of the way our players battled on the road and got the result.”
