RLCF Announces 2022 North Louisiana Arts Interchange Exhibit

The Ross Lynn Charitable Foundation will host the 2022 North Louisiana Arts Interchange Exhibit at Creative Exchange in downtown Ruston.

The North Louisiana Arts Interchange is an opportunity for northwest Louisiana artists to collaborate virtually with artists from outside of their region to produce new work to display now through Sept. 24.

Eight artists who have spent the summer working in pairs will have their work displayed in this year’s exhibition. Starting as strangers, they navigated challenges in becoming familiar with each other while moving through the collaborative process.  The wide variety of concepts and mediums illustrates how each artist pair experimented and found their path while collaborating.

The participating artist pairs are:

Inique Harris (West Monroe)  & Whitney Tates (Shreveport)

Derrick Helphenstine (Baker) & Eric Hess (Shreveport)

Chris Wicker (Texarkana,TX) & Keldrick Dunn (Homer)

Kendall DeShea (Shreveport) & Jessica Ann (Quitman)

A closing reception will occur on Saturday, September 24, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Creative Exchange Gallery, 112 W Alabama Ave.

The NLAI is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council, as administered by the Shreveport Regional Arts Council. Funding has also been provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.
