Here is a look at how the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Top 10 in each classification fared this weekend.

Seventh-ranked (Class 5A) Ruston High defeated third-ranked (Class 7A) Cabot (Arkansas) 17-14 and the Bearcats should move up in the polls this week.

Ruston (2-1) will play its fourth straight Top 10 opponent this coming Friday when the Bearcats travel to second-ranked (Class 4A) Lafayette Christian.

Cedar Creek (1-2) fell out of those also receiving votes last week but with the Cougars 35-20 win over 2A Winnfield Friday night, they may once again start receiving votes.
