LA Tech Athletics Launches NIL Marketplace

Louisiana Tech Athletics announced Thursday a partnership with Opendorse to provide a dedicated Name, Image and Likeness Marketplace to further help Bulldog and Lady Techster student-athletes maximize their NIL opportunities.

The single, streamlined platform allows for LA Tech fans, brands, sponsors and donors to browse profiles of student-athletes who have opted in to the marketplace and engage in NIL deals with one compliant tool built specifically for the athletes’ needs. 

“We are thrilled to be able to launch the LA Tech NIL Marketplace, powered by Opendorse, through our partnership with Learfield,” said Reggie McIntyre, Associate A.D. for External Relations.  “The Marketplace will afford our student-athletes an amazing opportunity to promote their brand and maximize their experience as student-athletes and valuable members of the Ruston community.

“Now, brands, fans and our entire Louisiana Tech community will have the ability to support our student-athletes in an entirely new way through NIL deals. We are continually striving to further enhance the student-athlete experience here at Louisiana Tech, and this resource through Opendorse is a significant advancement that will continue to positively impact both our current and future student-athletes.”

All communication for the deal, from pitch to payment, happens through the platform.  Once a student-athlete receives a deal through the NIL Marketplace, they can review and accept the terms, receive payment, and auto-generate tax documentation.
