2021 quick recap: A thrilling game in the Lion’s Den that went to two overtimes saw the Bearcats get a 56-55 win in Ouachita head coach Todd Garvin’s season debut as head coach. Multiple lightning delays and rain through the night made passing difficult, but both teams combined for over 700 yards rushing on the night. Ouachita would go on to beat West Monroe the following week, ending a decade’s long streak of West Monroe beating District 2-5A opponents during the regular season.
