Robert Lee “Bob” Miller, Jr., age 83 of Ruston, LA was born on July 25, 1939 to Gladys Vioca and Dr. Robert Lee Miller, Sr. in New Orleans, LA, and he passed away peacefully in Ruston on October 14, 2022 after a period of brief illness.
Robert was a graduate of Louisiana State University and was an avid LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints fan. He worked in sales for Mr. Tom Benson for many years. Robert loved the city of New Orleans, and his favorite gathering place was the Le Richelieu in the French Quarter. He held lasting friendships with his beloved friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers William Miller and Emory Miller.
Robert is survived by his wife Mary Ann Miller of Ruston; three children: Angela Thomas, Susan Boyce, and Bobby Miller all of Ruston; granddaughters Valerie Thomas of Largo, FL and Gabrielle and husband Joshua Osborne of West Monroe, LA; nephews William Miller and wife Maria of Mandeville, LA and Thomas Miller of New Orleans; and a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Northern Louisiana Medical Center.
