Louisiana Tech guard Cobe Williams was one of 10 players voted by the league head coaches as a 2022-23 Preseason All-Conference USA honoree, as announced by the league office on Thursday.

Williams was a C-USA Honorable Mention and All-Defensive Team member while starting all 34 games for LA Tech last season.  He averaged 11.3 points per game to go along with 103 total assists (ranked 13th in the league) and 42 total steals.

The Dallas, Texas native went from averaging 7.4 points per game in non-conference to 13.5 points per game in conference/postseason.

Williams is one of the most experienced Bulldogs on the roster, having played in 94 career games.  He becomes the ninth Bulldog to be voted Preseason All-Conference USA since 2014 (second most in the league).

LA Tech, who is coming off a 24-win season and a C-USA Tournament title appearance, was picked to finish sixth in the preseason poll.  The Bulldogs open the 2022-23 season at home on Nov. 7 versus Mississippi College.

Season tickets are still on sale with the renewal deadline to guarantee seat locations for existing season ticket holders being Oct. 24.  To renew or order season tickets, visit LATechSports.com/Tickets or call the LA Tech Ticket Office at (318) 257-3631.
