We are back and better than ever! We hope you will join us November 10th –12th for Holidays in CedarTown. The Ruston Civic Center will be transformed into a holiday one-stop-shopping destination for all of our area residents. Holidays in CedarTown, a project of the Cedar Creek School Parent Club, will provide North Louisiana with a glittering marketplace that will allow you to jump start your holiday shopping.
In the marketplace, you will find over thirty booths overflowing with holiday items that are sure to please everyone on your shopping list. We are pleased to provide a unique shopping experience that includes vendors from all across the south: Patton’s Downtown, Patton’s Western Wear, National Jewelry, Bee & Crown, Mack’s Tomatoes, The Fancy Pelican, Legacy of Judy C. Martin, Bayou Bowties, Birdwell’s, Kendra Scott, Frames-A-Plenty, Timeless Trinkets, The Neighboring Co., Sunrise Clothing, LOA Clothing, Mr. P’s Tees, The Collective, Gather & Graze, Salt Mercantile, Ivy & Stone, Grit & Grace, Imperfect Dust, Senegence, Adams + Hegwood, MeMe’s Boutique, Paparazzi Jewelry, Second Round Bakery, Garden Baby, SugarPlums Vintage Marketplace, North Forty Woodworks, Different Strokes, Goldie Boutique, Kate & Company, Lexi Lou’s Boutique, Crumbs Catering, and Railway Coffee.
Our three-day market kicks off on Thursday, November 10th with the Holidays After Hours Preview Party from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. This event, sponsored by Origin Bank and Iron Oak Services, provides exclusive shopping for our guests, as well as complementary appetizers and drinks provided by local area restaurants that include Beau Vines, Newk’s Eatery, Iron Cactus, Uptown Downtown, Brister’s Smokehouse, Portico, Crumbs Catering, Ponchatoulas, Ben Christmas Catering, PF Importers, Kaybaby’s, and Rabb’s Liquor. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance at Cedar Creek School or at holidaysincedartown.com. There will be a limited number of tickets available at the door.
On Friday, November 11th, you can shop ‘til you drop from 9:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. From 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., we will be celebrating our local area teams at our Tinsel & Tailgate event. Tinsel & Tailgate, sponsored by Origin Bank, Hood Companies, Johnson Physical Therapy, and Cross Country, allows our shoppers to shop under the Friday Night Lights of the Ruston Civic Center, while enjoying complementary gameday concession favorites, such as hotdogs, Frito pies, nachos and more. In support of our local area teams, all fans wearing team spirit wear will receive free general admission to the Tinsel & Tailgate event from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. General admission tickets will be $5 and can be purchased at the door.
Of course, you will want to bring your little ones out Saturday morning for our Santa’s Cookie Crew event between 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., sponsored by Origin Bank and Legacy Pediatrics. This event is sure to be a blast for the kiddos as they will get to eat cookies, write a letter to Santa, and have a professional picture made with Santa by Kasey Stringer Photography. Admission for Santa’s Cookie Crew event is $10 and may be purchased in advance at Cedar Creek School or at holidaysincedartown.com. There will be a limited number of tickets available at the door. Don’t worry, the shopping isn’t quite over at 11:30; you can wrap up all that holiday shopping until 3:00 p.m. General admission tickets will be $5 and can be purchased at the door.
Visit Holidays in CedarTown, and it may just be your lucky day! As you enter the marketplace, make sure to swing by the raffle table to buy some of our Community Christmas Raffle tickets. This raffle, sponsored by Durrett Law and Title, provides you with a chance to win a $1,000 gift certificate to a locally owned business of choice. If you want to spread the love, you can select up to four locally owned small businesses in Ruston, LA totaling $1,000 in gift certificates. Tickets are $10 each or three for $20. They can be purchased in advance at Cedar Creek School or at holidaysincedartown.com.
