A 32-year-old man was arrested for causing a disturbance at a convenience store, his second arrest at the location in under two months.
Ruston Police responded to the Delta Mini Mart at 200 West California Ave. in Ruston Saturday night regarding a disturbance.
Officers were told Duntay Harvey of Ruston had caused a disturbance and had been previously banned from the property.
Harvey was reportedly leaving in a vehicle when officers arrived and stopped it. He denied having been banned from the property or causing a disturbance. He allegedly gave an incorrect date of birth to investigating officers several times throughout the encounter. A store representative said Harvey had been inside yelling profanities and refusing to leave.
After confirmation Harvey had been banned from the store, he was arrested for disturbing the peace, entering or remaining after being forbidden (trespassing), and resisting an officer by providing false information.
Harvey has charges pending from a December arrest at the same store for theft and disturbing the peace.
