Individual suffers injuries in domestic incident

A Grambling man was taken into custody by Grambling Police Saturday in connection with an earlier domestic violence incident.

On February 14 , Michael D. Ojehanon, 33, and his live-in girlfriend engaged in an intense argument that turned violent. During the dispute, Ojehanon allegedly battered her face using his fist.

The girlfriend fled the Wilson Street residence in Grambling and sought medical attention at the Northern Louisiana Medical Center and contacted police.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Ojehanon by Grambling Police.

Saturday evening GPD stopped Ojehanon near his residence for an obscured license plate. He was arrested on the domestic second degree battery warrant and traffic charge and booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center.

LPDC records showed Ojehanon was still in custody as of Tuesday afternoon.
