Lincoln Parish Waterworks District No. 1 is still under a boil advisory after being informed of a loss of pressure at one of the wells. 

As a mention of note, a boil advisory is simply an advisory – it is not a mandatory order. 

Lincoln Parish Waterworks District No. 1 is about a mile and a half south of Dubach and includes the community of Unionville. 

Power was lost at the wells for about three hours due to a blown fuse, which resulted in a pressure which dipped below 20 PSI. Any time that happens, a boil advisory is issued. 

Samples will be taken tomorrow, and once the samples return clear, the boil advisory will be lifted.
