Mrs. Rebecca Ann Weir George, age 64 of Ruston, LA was born July 30, 1958 in Kenmore, NY and passed away April 7, 2023 in Ruston. She loved the Lord just as much as the breath we take every second. Rebecca was very fond of outdoor activities like camping, hiking, fishing and hunting.
These activities were like life itself to her. Right out of school, she started care as a “candy striper,” now known as a CAN. It wasn’t until August 31, 1989 that Rebecca received her degree as an LPN. It was truly her life passion her life passion to care for everyone, more precisely, the elderly, as she worked in long-term care for most of her life.
Rebecca is survived by her sons Robert E. Weir and Richard J. Weir and wife Amanda De Normand Weir; grandchildren Shelby L. Weir and Richard J. Weir; siblings: John Weir and wife Peggy Weir, Beverly Bozicevich and partner Mar9 Blake and David Weir and partner Maureen Sheer; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
