Suspicious behavior prompts arrest

A man was arrested by Lincoln Parish deputies late Monday night after he allegedly opened car doors and knocked on residential doors at the Peachland Mobile Home Park.

About 10:00 p.m., deputies investigated reports that the man had opened the doors of vehicles that did not belong to him. Neighbors reported they did not know the man and did not live in the mobile home park.

A short time later, additional calls were received from Greene Lane which is adjacent to Peachland. The man was reportedly loitering behind the homes.

Deputies located Labarron Keith Johnson, 21, of Minden. Johnson was asked how he came to be on Greene Lane, and he answered he did not know. When asked if he had been in the Peachland Park, he also replied he did not know.

Johnson responded with the same answer to all questions from deputies. A witness identified Johnson as the person seen entering a car of a Peachland resident.

Johnson was arrested and booked for criminal mischief.
