Ruston Rotary to hold crawfish boil for First Responders

The Ruston Rotary Club and Karl Malone Toyota (with help from Wes Gregory and Courtesy Dodge) will host a free crawfish boil for all first responders in Lincoln Parish on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Argent Pavilion on the Louisiana Tech campus.

This event is made possible through a generous donation of fresh Louisiana seafood from the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board.

“We want to do this out of respect for all first responders,” said Ruston Rotary member Rusty Wilfong. “We have several law enforcement officers and first responders in the Rotary Club. We have a tremendous amount of respect for them and the work they do. It’s a small way to give back to them.”

Gregory will be joined by Wilfong and James Necaise in preparing 500 pounds of crawfish and 50 pounds of shrimp. A special thank you to Tim Hurt and Super One Foods.
