Trespasser arrested at convenience store

Ruston Police arrested a 29-year-old man for trespassing at a convenience store early Monday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the EZ Mart on South Vienna Street where the store clerk reported a man screaming in the store. Donald Rabb of Ruston was asked to leave the store and he did so.

Before officers left the area, they saw Rabb return to the store. Rabb was told he was now banned from the store and if he returned, he would be arrested. According to a report by officers, Rabb stated he understood.

A short time later, officers were dispatched back to the store as Rabb had returned again. He was asked once more if he understood that he was banned from the property and he stated he understood. He was placed under arrest and taken to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center where he was booked for entry and remaining after being forbidden (criminal trespass).
