Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man on outstanding warrants and drug charges after responding to a call of a suspicious person last week.
Christopher R. Singleton, 39, was arrested Friday morning after deputies were sent to Pea Ridge Road regarding a man walking randomly through individual yards. Singleton matched the description provided by the callers and was recognized by a deputy as a wanted person. He was placed under arrest, and during a search, a clear plastic baggie and a syringe, both containing suspected methamphetamine, were located.
Singleton was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two warrants for failure to appear in Ruston City Court.
Bail was set at $11,500.
