Davis also put his baseball skills to use by working with Buddy Ball, which helps demonstrate the fundamentals of the sport.
He is a two-time All AD Honor Roll recipient for maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the winter and spring 2023 quarter. And on the field, the infielder was named to the C-USA All-Tournament Team while being one of only two Bulldogs to start every game in 2023.
In his first season at LA Tech, he batted .290 while registering a team-high 71 hits (15 home runs) to go along with 58 RBIs and 47 runs scored.
The Spirit of Service award is presented three times through the season with Tuesday’s honor representing the spring sports (baseball, men’s and women’s golf, women’s beach volleyball, outdoor track and field and men’s and women’s tennis).
Soccer’s Alma Cedefors and women’s basketballs Lotte Sant were the Fall and Winter Spirit of Service award winners for Louisiana Tech this season, respectively.
