A Ruston man was arrested on several charges Monday by a patrol officer who was investigating a trespassing complaint.
A Ruston Police officer was on Larson Street Monday afternoon where he encountered Keith Jones, 63. A records check showed Jones was wanted by the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for failure to appear in Third District Court on a simple burglary charge.
Jones was arrested and searched. He was found in possession of several whole and crushed pills and a VISA debit card that had been reported stolen in 2020.
Jones was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for illegal possession of stolen things and the arrest warrant.
