A Choudrant woman was arrested Sunday after a Lincoln Parish deputy encountered her at a trash dumpster.
A deputy spotted Tina M. Cardin, 41, at the trash dumpsters at U.S. 80 and Pleasant Grove Road about midnight Sunday morning. The site is often used by Ouachita Parish residents to illegally dump garbage in bins reserved for Lincoln Parish citizens.
Cardin produced an identification card with a Monroe address but said she had recently moved to Choudrant. A records check revealed an arrest warrant for Cardin for improper supervision of a minor from Third District Court.
Cardin was arrested and asked if she had anything illegal in her vehicle. She said she had a small amount of marijuana.
A small bag of marijuana, a glass smoking pipe, and a tin box of marijuana were recovered from the vehicle.
Cardin was booked for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and the warrant. Bail was set at $3,500.
