A traffic stop early Saturday morning prompted two arrests on drug offenses and recovery of a stolen gun.
About 1:00 a.m., a Lincoln Parish deputy stopped a vehicle on La. Highway 33 after a license plate check showed it had no insurance. A records check revealed one of the occupants, Sarah E. Aiken, 39, of West Monroe, was wanted by Ruston Police on two warrants.
Keith Everett Graham, 45, told the deputy he had a firearm in the car. A search of the car located a Taurus pistol reported stolen in West Monroe. Suspected methamphetamine and a tramadol tablet were found in Aiken’s purse.
Graham was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for no insurance, driving under suspension, and possession of a stolen firearm. Bail was set at $31,500.
Aiken was booked for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and warrants for expired driver’s license and speeding. Bail was set at $24,000.
