A private memorial service for Mrs. Sheila Arleen Spillers, age 63 of Ruston, LA will be held by the family.
Sheila was born August 26, 1959 in Ruston to William Elton Ferguson and Minnie Mae Goss and passed away July 5, 2023 at her home in Ruston. She worked for Commercial Union for 24 years until it sold. Sheila was a member of the Louisiana Rabbit Breeders Association and served as the secretary. She loved raising and showing rabbits. Sheila loved the outdoors and spending time gardening. She especially loved her daylilies. Sheila liked to read and to bake homemade recipes. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones. Sheila was always happy. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Michael Ferguson; and step-son Bruce Spillers, Jr.
Sheila is survived by her husband Bruce Spillers of Ruston, LA; sons: Josh Bowlin and Kayla of Natchitoches, LA, Mark Bowlin of Homer, LA, Seth Michael Spillers or Ruston, LA and Jessie Spillers of Ruston, LA; daughter Stacey and husband Larry Collins of Booneville, AR; eight grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother Bobby Wayne Ferguson and Jungim of Dallas, TX; and a host of other family and many friends.
