A Ruston man was arrested Thursday after his mother complained to police that he was smoking “mojo,” marijuana, on her front porch.
Ruston Police officers responded to Apple Drive about 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning. A woman said her son Jamarious O. Williams, 33, had been smoking on her apartment porch. She had told Williams if he was caught smoking marijuana at her residence again, she would call police.

The woman also said her son had been walking around the apartment complex with his pants down at the ground, indicating he was under the influence.
Williams was found in possession of a Schedule I controlled substance. He was arrested and booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication.
