A man apprehended after a vehicle chase has confessed to his plan to kill two people in northeast Louisiana.
Last week, Union Parish Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators attempted to make a traffic stop for erratic driving on Marion Highway inside the Farmerville city limits. The Mazda 3 car then accelerated and fled through several city streets and onto La. Highway 2 East. At one point the suspect went through the grass at the Farmerville Town Hall to avoid deputies before returning to the highway.
On Highway 2 East near Terral Island Road, deputies were able to end the pursuit and the driver Judge H. Milliken, 42, of Farmerville was taken into custody.
Two loaded handguns were found on the passenger seat. Milliken was taken to the UPSO where he admitted to investigators he was headed to Morehouse Parish and Ouachita Parish to commit two murders.
Milliken said he had the two handguns in his possession to use in the planned murders and gave the names and locations of his intended victims. The potential victims verified to investigators that Milliken had recently appeared at their residences in the early morning hours without permission before being ordered to leave.
Milliken was booked at the Union Parish Detention Center for two counts of attempted second degree murder and traffic offenses.
Bail was set at $750,000 by a Third Judicial District Judge.
