A Choudrant woman was arrested last Tuesday night after she allegedly struck her boyfriend in the face with an object.
Elizabeth B. Nelson, 33, was charged with domestic abuse battery by the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office after interviewing the alleged victim and Nelson.

The victim said Nelson had been drinking all day and they had been arguing off and on. At about 10:30 p.m., Nelson allegedly attempted to force the victim out of the house and threw an unknown hard object at him, striking him in the face.
Deputies saw a large bruise on the victim’s face under his right eye socket.
When Nelson was interviewed, deputies smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on her breath. Nelson refused to provide details on the altercation. She was booked for domestic abuse battery.
