The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a Grambling man last Tuesday on several warrants after he was stopped for a traffic violation.
Haywood L. Harris, 22, was stopped about 12:30 a.m. on Louisiana Highway 33 for a traffic violation. The deputies smelled burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle and when he inquired about it, Harris pulled a bag of suspected marijuana from his pocket.

A records check showed Harris was wanted on three failure to appear warrants from Ruston City Court. He was arrested and booked for possession of marijuana, improper lane usage, and the three warrants. Bail was set at $6,000.
