Disorderly man arrested on campus

A 46-year-old man with no affiliation with the campus was arrested at Grambling State University Friday evening after causing a disturbance.

Everette Rayford, of Grambling, was arrested on campus after a report he appeared intoxicated and was bothering students. GSU Police found Rayford in front of the Tiger Express, a campus restaurant area, and saw him trying to maintain his balance and fall down. His speech was slurred, and he smelled of alcohol.

Rayford was arrested and booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center for public intoxication, disturbing the peace, and criminal trespass.
