Ruston High announced its 2023 Homecoming Court Tuesday afternoon.
Freshman maids are Autumn Gibbs and Gioia Tatum. Autumn is the daughter of Kira and Jeff Gibbs. Autumn’s mom is an RHS Class of 2001 graduate, and her dad is a graduate of the RHS Class of 1999. Gioia is the daughter of Fiorella and Donald Tatum.
Sophomore maids are Alyssa Langiulli, Frances Preaus, and Megan Modest. Alyssa is the daughter of Dayanny and Michael Langiulli. Megan is the daughter of Leaundra Modest, an RHS Class of 1998 graduate, Shalena Johnson, and Clarence Johnson. Frances’ parents are Morgan and Jake Preaus. Frances’ mom is an RHS Class of 2003 graduate, and her grandfather Wayne Parkman is a graduate of the RHS Class of 1965.
Junior maids are Marlee Davis and Ariana Wesley. Marlee is the daughter of Morgan and Cody Davis. Ariana is the daughter of Generra Wesley and Mikel Key. Senior maids are Bethany Colvin, Jodi Dunbar, Aakeyliah Jones, and A’Nyia Moore. Bethany is the daughter of Kelli and Ed Colvin. Jodi is the daughter of Felicia and JP Dunbar. Aakeyliah is the daughter of Alisha Jones and Lawrence Spivey, a 1999 graduate of Ruston High School. A’Nyia is the daughter of Chanelle France, Alphonzo Moore, and Roy Jackson.
Our 2023-2024 Maid of Honor is Kam’ryn Bradley, daughter of Donecia Bradley and Ryan Williams.
Our 2023-2024 Homecoming Queen is Kate Pullin, daughter of Sarah and Brad Pullin. Kate’s grandfather Danny Graham is a 1971 graduate of Ruston High School, her grandmother Kate Holstead Graham is an RHS Class of 1972 graduate, and her great-grandfather George Holstead graduated from RHS in 1941.
This year’s homecoming crawl and pep rally will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 4, beginning in the Boulevard at 6:30 p.m. and ending at Hoss Garrett Stadium for the pep rally at 7:00 p.m. t
The assembly will be held Thursday, Oct. 5, at 10:00 a.m. at Hoss Garrett Stadium which will include the formal presentation of the court to the student body.
The homecoming game this season will be against Alexandria Senior High on Friday, Oct. 6, at 7:00 p.m. at T.L. James Field at Hoss Garrett Stadium.
