The timeline for Ruston’s QuikTrip to open is starting to take shape.

A call from QuikTrip’s corporate communications director Aisha Jefferson confirmed the end of November as the target for opening the doors.

“We’ve been focusing on expanding the footprint of our travel center network,” Jefferson said. “We’re super excited to consider Ruston as a planned location; we hope to have that open Nov. 30 of this year.

“The store will be equipped with our expanded QuikTrip kitchens that offers fresh made-to-order food, drinks, fresh grab-and-go, crafted sandwiches, salads and wraps that will satisfy customers.”

Ruston mayor Ronny Walker echoed Jefferson’s excitement for QuikTrip to make Ruston a new location in the coming weeks.

“We’re thrilled to welcome QuikTrip to Ruston,” Walker said. “As we start this new chapter, we recognize that businesses like QuikTrip not only bring convenience to our residents but also invest in our community’s potential. Their commitment to providing quality service and jobs aligns perfectly with our vision for Ruston’s future.”
