Louisiana Tech Tennis head coach Amy Sargeant added her first Bulldog for the 2024-25 season, signing Alice Brook to a national letter of intent on Monday.

Brook, a native of Ilkley, England, is a 5-foot-9 righty that will join LA Tech in the fall of 2024.

“The moment Alice and I started the recruiting process, I knew she would be the perfect fit for our program,” said Sargeant. “She has an energy that is contagious, fun, and a breath of fresh air. I truly believe she is going to excel in the college environment and be a game changer not only on the court but also for this team.”

She represented Yorkshire in Division I U12, U14, U18, and Women’s County Club as well as playing U18 for Ilkley Tennis Club and the national premier league for Leeds Becket Uni. She was also runner-up at the J60 Loughborough ITF and made the semifinals of the ITF doubles at J60 Edinburgh.

“When I first got the call from coach Sargeant, we instantly clicked,” said Brook. “I knew Louisiana Tech was going to be the right place for me and I cannot wait to get started and experience all the new cultures.”
