Louisiana Tech student-athletes opened the 2023-24 academic year with a 3.02 grade point average for the fall quarter, making it the ninth straight term that the 16 LA Tech Athletic programs reached at least a 3.00 GPA.
A total of 207 Bulldogs and Lady Techsters achieved the AD Honor Roll (term GPA of 3.00 and above) with 119 of those earning academic honors.
A total of 68 student-athletes made the Dean’s List (3.5-3.85 GPA) and 51 made the President’s List (3.85+ GPA).
The women’s cross country program earned the highest fall term GPA of 3.76 while the women’s basketball program achieved its highest ever term GPA on record of 3.52. The soccer and softball programs also had high marks, earning a 3.53 and 3.49, respectively. Meanwhile, The men’s track and field program achieved its second highest term GPA on record of 3.11.
There were 10 student-athletes who earned their degrees for the fall quarter including Robyn Lee (WBB), Anna Larr Roberson (WBB), Salma Bates (WBB), Thomas Henson (Golf), Alma Cedefors (Soccer), Katelin Cooper (Softball), Lauren Menzina (Softbal), Tiffani Nash (Tennis), Willie Roberts (Football), and Danielle Jedlicki (Bowling).
