Funeral services for James Tyler Barmore (33) of Arcadia LA, will be held at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston, LA. on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM Officiating will be Rev Karl Norris. Interment will follow at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Dubach, LA. The visitation will be Monday, January 22, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in Ruston.
Tyler was his grandaddy’s first Grandboy and that is how he got his name “T Ty”, but many of his friends knew him as Tyler B. He had a beautiful smile and was always joking and laughing. He was such a sweet young man and loved by so many. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids. His kids were his everything! He was a member of Rock Corner Baptist Church.
Tyler was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Dorene Barmore; maternal grandparent, Claude Pesnell; and sister-in-law, Brittney Hanvy.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Haley Murray Barmore; children, Paxton Barmore, Tucker Barmore, Ava Claire Barmore, and Dex Barmore, all of Arcadia, LA; father, James E. Barmore of Arcadia, LA; mother, Serena Barmore of Choudrant, LA; brother, Kris Mays of Choudrant, LA; sister, Logan Barmore of Choudrant, LA; grandparents, Billy and Pam McElduff of Choudrant, LA and Frances Pesnell of Dubach, LA; aunt, Tracy McElduff, of Choudrant, LA; uncles, Jimbo McElduff, Dubach, LA and Billy Bennett of Shreveport, LA; uncles, Johnny Barmore of Dubach, Tommy Baremore of Calhoun, and Danny “Bo” Barmore of Bernice; aunts, Betty Revels of Dubach, June Slaton of Ruston, and Diane Shoemaker of Dubach; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
The pallbearers will be Tyler Shambro, Luke Hockenjos, Joe Hood, Jonathan Shoemaker, John Bowers, and Brad Slaton.
