Louisiana Tech University Police arrested an Oak Grove man Wednesday in connection with the July 2023 burglary of a campus building.
John Robert McIntosh, III, 48, was arrested on a warrant charging him with simple burglary of Reese Hall on the Tech South Campus.
Tech Assistant Chief Bill Davis said the department’s investigators identified McIntosh as the person who broke into an office in Reese Hall on January 30, 2023, and took several sets of vehicle keys to steal a Tech vehicle parked outside. Davis said the suspect could not get the vehicle running and left.

LTU PD Investigators used video to identify McIntosh. Davis said an arrest warrant was obtained but that McIntosh could not be arrested until recently.
Davis said McIntosh was not affiliated with the university.
McIntosh was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center. His bail was set at $7,500.
