Letlow featured speaker at Ruston-Lincoln Chamber Capitol Chat

The Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce hosted a Capitol Chats event with Congresswoman Julia Letlow on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Davison Athletics Complex on Louisiana Tech University’s campus. The event was sponsored by Origin Bank. Congresswoman Letlow addressed business leaders from Lincoln Parish, providing updates on initiatives impacting our community.

Following the event, Congresswoman Letlow met with executives from businesses who have invested in the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber with a presidential-level membership and above.

“We were pleased to host Congresswoman Letlow and want to thank her for engaging with our business community,” said Elizabeth Turnley, chair of the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. “We are grateful to Congresswoman Letlow for her steadfast leadership in Washington, D.C., and for representing our interests in North Louisiana.”

The event featured a question-and-answer session with Congresswoman Letlow moderated by William Dearmon, President and CEO of the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber. Congresswoman Letlow discussed her current legislative priorities and their impact on Lincoln Parish and shared her insights on government funding challenges and the most recent news affecting Louisiana’s congressional map.

“I’m grateful to Congresswoman Letlow for speaking to us about a variety of important issues that impact our community,” said Dearmon. “I also want to thank our business leaders for attending and communicating our priorities to ensure we maintain a business-friendly environment in Lincoln Parish.”
