A Ruston man was arrested last Saturday night after he allegedly struck another man with a steel pipe.
The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at a mobile home park on Tarbutton Road about 11 p.m. The victim told deputies that Geovanni Galo-Hernandez, 32, had hit him on the leg and the back with a pipe.
Deputies saw a three- to four-inch laceration on his right shin and a large red mark on his back. The victim was taken to the North Louisiana Medical Center for treatment.
Galo was arrested at the scene for aggravated battery and booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center. Bail was set at $10,000.
