Funeral services for Wanda Copeland, age 63 of Ruston, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Rev. Leroy Skipper officiating. Burial will follow in the Longstraw Cemetery in Choudrant, LA under direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.
Wanda Carol Copeland passed away peacefully at her home on February 25, 2024 joining her loved ones in their eternal home. She was a person with a bright light and contagious spirit. Wanda was honest, uplifting and guaranteed to make you laugh. Some of her most cherished times were being spent with family and friends. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Wanda is predeceased by her parents Walter and Virginia Skipper; her brother, Clayton Skipper and sisters, Peggy Dotson and Angie Strozier. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Tom Copeland; daughters: Candace McGrew and husband Jeff, Bridget Hottle and Kaeley Copeland; four grandchildren: Blake McGrew, Sydney McGrew, Landon Rucker and Vada Hottle; great-grandchild, Haelynn McGrew and brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Sherry Skipper.
Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until service time Saturday at Owens Memorial Chapel.
