Lincoln Parish Schools schedule early bird registration

Lincoln Parish Schools is pleased to announce an upcoming early bird Pre-K/Kindergarten registration event scheduled for Tuesday, March 19th. Parents are encouraged to mark their calendars for this important opportunity to secure their child’s educational journey.

When: March 19th, 8am-1pm or 5pm-7pm
Where: Lincoln Parish School’s STEM Center
525 Tarbutton Rd, Ruston, LA 71270

Key details for registration include:

  • Pre-K-aged children must be four on or before September 30, 2024.

  • Kindergarten-aged children must be five on or before September 30, 2024.

  • Students currently attending Pre-K at Choudrant, Dubach, LPECC, OR Simsboro DO NOT need to register for Kindergarten.

Official GUARDIAN must have the following mandatory documents when applying:

  • Original Birth Certificate with Official State Seal (GUARDIAN INDICATED MUST SIGN PAPERWORK)

  • Student’s Official Social Security Card

  • Current Immunization Record (Must be up-to-date)

  • Proof of Residence: Two current items of verification (utility bill, cable bill, telephone bill)

  • *Pre-K Only* Income verification is required for all applications. (2 recent consecutive pay stubs, W2, SNAP letter, or letter from employer)

Online registration for Lincoln Parish Schools Pre-K and Kindergarten opens the week of March 18th at https://jgrades.lincolnschools.org/register/. Families requiring assistance with online registration are encouraged to attend the Pre-K/Kindergarten registration event.

“We are excited to offer this early bird registration event to our community,” said Amy Brister, Early Childhood Coordinator at Lincoln Parish Schools. “It provides families with the opportunity to secure their child’s place in our Pre-K or Kindergarten programs and ensures a smooth transition into the upcoming school year.”
