Max Brister, Jackson Mock and Trent Franklin combined to toss a one-hitter as Cedar Creek blanked Union High School 13-0 in five innings on Wednesday.

The Cougars (13-17) capitalized on nine errors and four walks in the victory.

Creek plated three runs in the first, one in the second, six in the third and three more in the fourth to coast to their 13th win of the year.

Ladd Thompson, Brister, and Connor Yates each recorded multi-hit and multi-RBI efforts in the win while Brett Bell also recorded a two-RBI performance.

Brister picked up the win on the mound, tossing 3.0 scoreless innings without allowing a hit and only walking one while striking out five. Mock and Franklin each worked 1.0 scoreless innings in relief.

Brister helped his cause on the mound with a two-run double in the first inning. Thompson added an RBI single in the second and an RBI triple in the third. Bell recorded an RBI single in the second and a bases-loaded walked in the fourth.

Cedar Creek will travel to face Evangel Christian on Saturday.
