A Grambling State University student was arrested Wednesday after marijuana (THC) was found in her dorm room.
GSU Police responded to Douglass Hall about 7 p.m. last Wednesday after resident hall assistants conducting a room check saw a jar of suspected marijuana. Police found the jar and a filtration device in processing marijuana.
A box on a table was found to contain pot brownies, several types of waxes containing THC, and a digital scale. An empty bottle of THC syrup was found on the floor. The box was addressed to Jada K. St. Paul, 18, of Fort Myers, Fla., the resident of the room.

St. Paul was contacted by phone by housing officials and directed to return to her room. St. Paul told police she acquired the items for self-medication.
St. Paul was arrested and booked for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of the controlled substances law establishing drug-free zones.
